A fairly traditional design, this border pattern has also been adapted from another original 1856 lithograph. The rich maroon and gold colours hark back to the influences of the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. The name for this throw comes from the latin word for marble Pictura and the pattern has been adopted from the marble pavement found at the 6th century monument. Complimented with a plush wine coloured back the Colour Me Constantinople Throws are a perfect companion on a cold winter night or can be used to drape over sofas as decor side table covers and even as wall hangings.
